Data Korea Path handles
Optional usage analytics is off unless you explicitly allow it in Privacy choices. Before that choice, Korea Path does not send behavior events and does not load the Google Analytics tag; earlier activity is not buffered for later transmission. If allowed, Korea Path may receive the event type, time, language, page path, content reference, referring host and a small set of interaction properties. Google Analytics may receive analytics cookies, device and browser information, approximate geography, event timing, and the page path without its query string. Guides you save stay in this browser's local storage, where the Saved page lets you reopen, remove, share or download the list without creating an account. The full saved list is not sent as stored data. If optional analytics is allowed, saving, removing, reopening or sharing may send the event type and the relevant content reference or share method described above; it does not send the full list. Standard hosting and security systems may process request information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser or device information, timestamps and security signals to deliver and protect the service.
Optional Korea Path and Google Analytics measurement
Korea Path operates a first-party aggregate measurement service and, after the same affirmative analytics choice, loads Google Analytics. This choice is separate from Monetag advertising consent. Because Google Analytics adds a recipient and measurement purpose, an older first-party-only permission is not reused; the updated choice must be made again. The first-party event does not create a durable visitor identifier or store a full referrer URL or user-agent string. When a server-side privacy salt is configured, Korea Path may derive a rotating daily visitor hash for aggregate counts; it changes each day and is not exposed to the browser. First-party raw analytics events and daily quota rows are scheduled for deletion after 90 days through a bounded cleanup process.
Google Analytics can create or read analytics cookies and process technical request information under Google's terms and privacy policy. Korea Path configures the Google tag to disable Google signals and ad-personalization signals, sends only the current origin and path rather than URL queries or fragments, and reduces a same-site referrer to its path or an external referrer to its origin. Korea Path imports aggregate page and landing-session reporting by path, locale, country and device for traffic and revenue analysis; URL query values are discarded and these D1 aggregate rows are scheduled for deletion after 400 days. Event- and user-level data retention in the Korea Path Analytics property is configured to 14 months; Google's retention behavior and deletion timing remain governed by the property settings and Google's services. When measurement starts and stops
Core Web Vitals observation starts only when an affirmative analytics choice was already stored before the current page navigation. Choosing Allow midway through a page can enable later behavior events and Google Analytics from that point, but it does not measure or transmit the earlier part of that navigation; first-party field-performance observation can begin on the next navigation. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals keep optional analytics off even if an older permission remains in browser storage.
You can refuse initially or reopen Privacy choices and withdraw analytics permission at any time. Withdrawal disables later Korea Path events, updates Google Analytics consent to denied and disables the property for later calls on that page. You can use browser site-data controls to delete analytics cookies and the saved choice record.
Information you submit
A contact, correction or rights request can include your name, email address, page URL and message. We use that information to review and respond to the request, protect the service and keep an audit record where reasonably necessary. Same-origin and rate-limit controls use a secret-salted daily IP hash; the form record does not store a user-agent string. Active feedback records are scheduled for deletion after 180 days through bounded daily cleanup that catches up on later runs when needed.

Backups and deletion timing
Private recovery snapshots of the live database are stored under the restricted R2 backups/ prefix and expire 30 days after each snapshot is created. A record removed from the live database may remain in an earlier recovery snapshot until that snapshot expires, for up to 30 days after the live deletion. Recovery snapshots are not used for analytics or routine editorial access.
Monetag advertising and partner data
Korea Path uses a Monetag In-Page Push banner only on eligible, indexable editorial pages. The advertising tag is separate from Google Analytics and is not loaded unless you affirmatively choose Allow advertising. When loaded, Monetag and its advertising partners may process cookies or similar identifiers to deliver, limit, measure, protect and personalize ads according to your choice and applicable law.
Your browser may send Monetag the eligible page URL, IP address, and browser, device or network information. Selecting an advertisement may take you to an advertiser's website, whose privacy practices are separate from Korea Path. Monetag explains its data practices and opt-out choices at the links below.
Consent and advertising choices
The Privacy choices panel asks separately whether this browser may use optional analytics and load the Monetag tag. Declining advertising means Monetag is not loaded. Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track also blocks the tag even if an older affirmative choice remains in browser storage.
You can reopen Privacy choices to change either decision. Withdrawing advertising after the tag has loaded reloads the page so later Monetag code is removed. Analytics and advertising retain separate choice records; neither choice grants the other permission.
Your privacy choices
You can reopen Privacy choices to allow or withdraw either optional service independently. You can also clear saved guides, analytics cookies, the analytics-choice record and the advertising-choice record using your browser's site-data controls. You may request access to, correction of or deletion of information submitted through a Korea Path form; deleted live records can remain in a restricted recovery snapshot for up to 30 days.
