Our process
We triage the claim, compare the cited source with the page provenance, update or withhold the affected fact, and record the review event. Material corrections update the page modification date; silent spelling fixes do not rewrite history.

- Expired facts can be hidden before a replacement is known
- Disagreement is not resolved by search ranking or advertiser preference
