Cookie and local storage policy

How Korea Path uses browser storage and how advertising consent will be handled.

Última atualização July 13, 2026
01

Korea Path local storage

Korea Path stores a small, versioned list when you choose to save a guide and stores a separate versioned value when you allow or decline optional first-party analytics. Neither value contains an account, email address or precise location. Journey-tool inputs remain in page memory and normally disappear when the page is closed.

02

Google and third-party advertising cookies

When advertising is enabled on an eligible editorial page, third-party vendors, including Google, may set or read cookies and similar identifiers to deliver, limit, personalize, measure and protect ads. Google's advertising cookies enable Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to Korea Path and other websites. Other disclosed ad-technology vendors may use their own cookies when permitted by the visitor's choices.

Korea Path does not place the AdSense executable script on the language chooser, search, policy, error, Studio, tool, event or empty and noindex pages. The publisher ownership meta tag does not itself set an advertising cookie.

03

Consent storage

Google's certified consent message may store a consent string or related choice needed to remember whether a visitor consented, refused or selected individual purposes and vendors. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, the message supports consent, refusal, management and later withdrawal. A custom Korea Path banner is not used as a substitute for the certified platform.

04

Separate analytics choice

The Korea Path Analytics choices control stores only whether this browser granted or denied optional first-party analytics. It is not an advertising-consent string, is not shared with Google and does not override a Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal. Events are dropped until an affirmative choice is effective and permission can be withdrawn from the same control.

05

Manage or clear storage

Use Analytics choices to review first-party measurement and use the privacy-choice control shown by Google's message to review advertising choices when available. You can also use Google Ads Settings to manage personalized advertising and your browser's site-data controls to delete cookies and local storage. Clearing Korea Path storage removes saved-guide preferences and the analytics-choice record on that device and may cause choices to be requested again.
