01

Plan how you will get there

Start with the official schedule for your date and save the exact stage or activity area. The festival spreads across Central Line 1942 Andong Station, Mask Dance Park, and the old downtown. Central Line 1942 Andong Station is the former station, now used as a cultural venue, not the operating intercity rail station. Plan your rail or bus arrival, the transfer into the festival district, and any Hahoe Village visit separately. Keep venue names in Korean, allow extra time for walking outdoors, and use the latest organizer map rather than an older festival layout.

02

Plan the trip back

Before the final performance, decide whether your day will end downtown, at another program site, or at your accommodation. From that actual exit, check the current route to the Andong rail or bus terminal or your hotel. Do not rely on saved shuttle, last-service, or journey-time information. Crowds leaving together, a parade, rain, or street controls can change the route you used earlier. If you are returning to another city, leave enough time for the booked departure. Treat regional stops as separate trips unless the current organizer clearly connects them.

03

Check again on the event day

  • Open the official 2026 schedule for your date and confirm the exact venue, entry process, ticket rule, and any program change.
  • Use a current 2026 map, and remember that Central Line 1942 Andong Station is the former station festival site, not the operating rail station.
  • Check the weather, outdoor walking conditions, accessibility, luggage options, and any road or crowd-control notice before entering the district.
  • Leave enough time for your return booking or route to the accommodation, and skip an optional late program if the transfer becomes too tight.
