01

Plan how you will get there

Check the official visitor notice for your date, since most Mondays are closed but some holidays are listed as exceptions. Save 광주비엔날레전시관 and its street address before you leave. The exhibition hall is not next to Gwangju Songjeong Station or the intercity bus terminals, so check the final city bus or taxi leg separately. If you plan to use a discount, keep the required identification with your ticket.

02

Plan the trip back

Before entering, check the route from the exhibition hall to your hotel or intercity departure point. A long gallery visit or café break can push the trip into the evening commute, and getting back to Gwangju Songjeong Station may require a transfer. Leave a comfortable gap before a fixed train or bus, and keep your hotel's Korean address ready in case a taxi is the most practical option.

03

Check again on the event day

  • Check the visitor notice again for opening hours, final admission, Monday exceptions, and any temporary closure on your date.
  • Bring your ticket and any identification needed for the discount you plan to use.
  • Save the exhibition hall and your return destination in Korean, then check the full route in both directions.
