The lantern displays stretch along the Namgang and around Jinjuseong, so ‘the festival’ is too vague for a meeting place. Use the final 2026 map to choose an entrance, bridge, or named landmark, and save its Korean name. Check shuttle routes and road closures on the day. Wear comfortable shoes, since the evening may include long riverside walks and crowded approaches to the bridges.
Plan the trip back
Decide in advance whether you will finish near Jinjuseong, along another part of the river, or at your accommodation. The published lighting hours do not guarantee a late bus or train, so check the trip from that exact exit to the terminal before setting out. Leave enough time for bridge queues and traffic controls, and choose an outdoor meeting point that will still work if mobile service slows in the crowd.

- Open the final 2026 program and map, since some current descriptions are still labeled as 2025 information.
- Before arriving, confirm your entrance, bridge rules, paid experiences, weather response, and any road or shuttle changes.
- Wear shoes suited to a long riverside walk, and carry only what you can manage comfortably in a dense evening crowd.
- Check the last practical route to your bus, train, or accommodation, and agree on an outdoor meeting point.
