Make Suwon the base for this route
Official tourism evidence makes Suwon the most coherent base. VISITKOREA identifies Haenggung-dong, Hwaseong Fortress, and the surrounding neighborhood as important Our Beloved Summer settings, while its longer location feature also lists Seoul, Siheung, Hwaseong, and Osan candidates. Those places cannot form one walking route. A Suwon day offers public heritage and café streets within a manageable district. Reach the city through the Suwon gateway, settle bags, and use current local transport to Haenggung-dong. Leave Choong Ang High School, Oido Museum, SODA Art Museum, Gungpyeonghang Port, and Osan Dolmen Park for separate plans whose operators and distances can be checked properly.
Walk Haenggung-dong through public places
The official KTO sources connect Haenggung-dong Mural Village and the Hwaseong visitor district with the drama's neighborhood scenes. Start from a current visitor-information or fortress entrance, choose a short public street loop, and place one legitimate café or meal along it. The area's winding lanes still serve residents. Keep groups small, avoid windows and gates, ask before photographing a business, and do not direct readers to the close address of a character's home. A mural, wall color, or storefront may have changed since filming. The route remains valuable through Suwon Hwaseong's history, local street life, and current cultural venues, so it does not need a preserved residential façade to succeed.
Make Suwon Hwaseong the main anchor
VISITKOREA's official feature links the characters' dating neighborhood to Suwon Hwaseong and describes the fortress route through places such as Hwahongmun and Banghwasuryujeong. Check Visit Suwon for current admission, construction, event, and mobility information. Follow designated paths and protect walls, gates, ponds, and lawns from climbing or prop setups. The fortress spans more distance and elevation than one photograph suggests, so choose a section rather than promising the whole circuit. In severe heat, rain, snow, or crowding, use a nearby museum or lower street route. The fortress's history makes this stop worthwhile even for travelers who have not watched the series.
Keep Choong Ang High School outside the default walk
KTO documents Choong Ang High School in Seoul as the characters' school and an older official feature lists limited public-opening patterns. A school timetable from an old tourism article cannot establish 2026 access. Contact or consult the school directly and visit only during a clearly published public period; otherwise do not approach campus gates for photos. Never photograph students, enter buildings, or ask security to bend the rules. Because the school is in Seoul, it also does not belong after the Suwon walk. Travelers who select a separately verified school-open day can build a respectful Bukchon public route around it, but the Suwon guide loses nothing by excluding this sensitive institution.
Treat the museum, port, and Osan park as independent alternatives
The official feature identifies Siheung Oido Museum, Hwaseong SODA Art Museum, and Osan Dolmen Park, while KTO destination data also links Gungpyeonghang Port to the series. Each requires its own city gateway, operating check, and return. Oido Museum and SODA are institutions with current exhibition and photography rules; Gungpyeonghang is a working, weather-exposed port; Osan Dolmen Park is public green space whose facilities can change. Select one only when it fits the accommodation and transport plan. Do not add it after Suwon merely to increase the location count. If a museum is closed or coastal weather deteriorates, use a nearby public attraction in that same city rather than another fan address.
Require both filming evidence and current public purpose

Keep the default route within Suwon's public cluster. Recheck school access, business identity, museum hours, port safety, and train connections close to travel, and skip any stop whose public role is unclear. A practical Our Beloved Summer day combines Haenggung-dong's public streets, one selected Hwaseong section, a normal meal or cultural stop, and a protected return to Suwon Station. Scattered homes and institutions do not belong in a calm neighborhood walk.
