01

Use three public contexts, not a reenactment checklist

The official VISITKOREA course identifies Paldo Dried Seafood in Baegun Market, the CU Ssangmun Uicheon branch, the Toin shop in Insadong, Incheon My Land, and Gyodong Elementary School. For a Seoul day, use the northern neighborhood pair and Insadong only if current access makes sense; leave Incheon for a separate trip. The school is not a visitor stop at all. These are ordinary commercial and public places connected to the production, not arenas for copying violent or disruptive scenes. Begin with the exact Korean addresses from the official source, check live businesses independently, and carry a conventional market or museum alternative. A responsible Squid Game route explains culture and geography without staging danger.

02

Visit Baegun Market as a working market

KTO places the fictional Sang-woo's Fish at Paldo Dried Seafood inside Baegun Market. The stall and neighboring merchants must continue serving customers, receiving deliveries, and keeping narrow aisles open. Confirm the business is operating before the journey, buy something only when genuinely wanted, ask before close photography, and never handle merchandise or production-themed displays without permission. Market hours and stall tenancy can change, so the official filming record does not guarantee today's transaction. Keep the northern cluster short: after the market, walk or use current local transport toward the Uicheon-area shop only if it remains a public business. Otherwise continue to a regular Dobong cultural or food stop.

03

Keep the convenience-store visit small and lawful

The KTO course documents the CU branch where Gi-hun and Il-nam's post-game meeting was filmed. A convenience store forecourt is not a reserved photo studio. Check that the branch identity still matches, purchase and queue like any customer, stay out of delivery and parking space, and ask staff before moving a chair or placing props. Alcohol should never be used to recreate a scene where it is unlawful or disruptive. If the exterior is busy, take no photograph and leave. Do not redirect visitors to a nearby residence that resembles the shot. The stop is optional; the market already carries the northern Seoul context, and the day loses nothing when ordinary business needs take precedence.

04

Use Insadong for traditional-game context

Toin, at the Insadong address in the official KTO course, sells nostalgic toys and snacks associated with the cultural layer behind games shown in the series. Verify the current shop before travel and treat products, demonstrations, and photography according to the operator's rules. Insadong also offers public craft, museum, and food alternatives, so it can stand as its own central cluster rather than a rushed continuation from Dobong. Use Seoul Metro to calculate the cross-city move and omit Insadong when travel time would dominate the day. Never light sugar over an open flame on the street or organize games that block pedestrians. A supervised commercial experience is safer than an improvised recreation.

05

Exclude Gyodong Elementary School from the visitor route

The official KTO page is unambiguous that entry to Gyodong Elementary School is forbidden. It lies in Ganghwa, outside the Seoul route, and its primary function is educating children. Do not approach gates during school activity, photograph students, fly a drone, or seek a staff exception. The nearby Daeryong Market can be visited as an independent Ganghwa destination on another day, subject to current local guidance, but it does not create permission to use the school. Studio Cube and other production facilities are likewise working, access-controlled sites, not public sets. Keep these places out of the route rather than turning fan interest into a trespass risk.

06

Refresh businesses and preserve the safety boundary

VISITKOREA confirms the named filming relationships, while each merchant, amusement operator, school, and transport provider controls today's access. Recheck the business identity and public opening before leaving, and skip a stop when current information no longer supports it. Do not recreate dangerous games or roadway scenes, carry imitation weapons, dress as staff, or enter restricted production areas. Check current business hours and never assume that props remain. A sensible Seoul plan combines considerate purchasing at Baegun Market, an optional public shopfront when it is uncongested, and a separately timed Insadong cultural visit. Incheon and Ganghwa belong to different itineraries, and the school boundary remains closed regardless of fan interest.
